From our headquarters in Perry, Florida, we manage the Florida and Georgia timberlands. We encourage recreational access and other land uses compatible with our timber management. While we primarily manage the property for slash pine plantations, we also plant loblolly, sand, and longleaf pine. These plantations, along with the natural regenerated stands, are managed to provide a quality and sustainable supply of trees for markets that produce a wide variety of products meeting the needs of society. Four Rivers participates in cooperative research and silvicultural practices that improve forest health and continue increasing the yield and quality of our pine plantations. These diligent management efforts result in increased productivity which provides a robust supply of timber for local markets.
